When I describe to people what a Ragnar Relay is, they generally look at me like I'm totally insane and then ask me "Why would you do something like that? Are you crazy?" The answer? Well, maybe a little, but this following article that was in the NY Times describes perfectly WHY people do Ragnar. Aren't we all getting to the age where we shouldn't be required to have a why? We should be able to do "bizarre things without having to explain them to anyone, including ourselves." So read this awesome, humorous article and you will understand my crazy a little better!

Ambassadors for the Best! Ragnar Relay Series!
This fall, Shaun and I apllied to do something that we both love and are passionate about. We applied to be Ambassadors for the Ragnar Relay running series. We applied because we love running these crazy relays! And what better way to spend a weekend with your spouse then running, eating, and sleeping in a van over the course of 30 hours or so! Well- a couple weeks later we found out that we both get to be ambassadors for Ragnar and we are so excited! There are many people that apply so we feel very blessed to be able to promote something we love! It basically means we get to run with clubs, run races, talk to running stores and groups, post on social media-all about Ragnar! Pretty much what I do anyway! So we decided to start this blog to help share our journey as we share the Ragnar love! If you have questions about what Ragnar is...please ask! We love to talk about it. Having completed 4 relays myself, I have lots of advice! Ragnar on folks!!
